Year 6 go litter picking
Some of our Year 6 went out litter picking and were spotted by someone who works quite close to our school. They sent this kind message:
Today I have seen a group of young people out picking litter in the community. It was such a wonderful sight to see that these young people were helping the local community look better by litter picking. They were all well behaved, and looked like they were being supported really well by their support worker. I felt incredibly proud seeing that these young people were wanting to help make their community better. Also their behaviour was extremely good and they presented your school incredibly well.
It’s a real credit to them all, and for yourselves organising something like this.
It is so nice to feel appreciated! This Sunday is “Thank You Day” but maybe everyday should be a Thank You Day!
