Class of 2022 Leavers’ Video
2
What a truly glorious time we have had today; celebrating the Platinum Jubilee!
Tables were decorated with bunting, with the House gazebos ready for shady picnicking. We had some wonderful parent and grandparent helpers, who gave up their time to help serve food, clear up the rubbish and watch the joyful playing of the children.
The decision to hold our celebrations today were so that we could be sustainable and use bunting that had been used in local street parties. We were delighted to have been given so many donations, along with the most incredible balloons from Love Always Balloons, which is a local company. Each class has been photographed in front of these today, so they will be coming home on the class blogs.
Photos will be on Twitter/Facebook and on the newsletter this week so please watch this space!

What a great way to end the week; with the hall packed with families celebrating Eid!
185 children and more than 60 parents joined us this morning, along with some very hard working staff!
Thank you for your generosity, in providing food and for the time taken out of your day. Many of you shared with me that it felt like the International Food celebrations that we used to hold in October and how much you have missed those. Community is so central to all that we do at ACE, so this felt like a return to what we used to do so readily.
Miss Hall leads the team who have organised this and other wonderful community celebrations this year. Huge thanks go to those staff. Parents have been to classes and spoken about Ramadan, Eid, and why these are important to you. Feedback has been so positive and we will work on our next steps.
I have already received some emails, so please do send in any comments or photographs you want to share to me at helen.stott@allertonceprimary.com
