Eid 2022

What a great way to end the week; with the hall packed with families celebrating Eid!

185 children and more than 60 parents joined us this morning, along with some very hard working staff!

Thank you for your generosity, in providing food and for the time taken out of your day. Many of you shared with me that it felt like the International Food celebrations that we used to hold in October and how much you have missed those. Community is so central to all that we do at ACE, so this felt like a return to what we used to do so readily.

Miss Hall leads the team who have organised this and other wonderful community celebrations this year. Huge thanks go to those staff. Parents have been to classes and spoken about Ramadan, Eid, and why these are important to you. Feedback has been so positive and we will work on our next steps.

I have already received some emails, so please do send in any comments or photographs you want to share to me at helen.stott@allertonceprimary.com

A Message from our PTA

Our PTA fundraising has taken a big hit this year, so we’d like to end this term on a high, and we need your help.

We are taking part in The Big PTA Raffle 2020, a nationwide PTA extravaganza, taking place between 20th October and 6th December 2020. Purchase tickets and be in with the chance of winning up to £5,000 in each of 12 draws at www.bigptaraffle.co.uk. Each £3 ticket will generate a number that will be entered into all 12 draws.

We are excited to be a part of The Big PTA Raffle 2020 and look forward to seeing if you are a winner!

Please don’t forget that Allerton CE Primary School, is registered with easyfundraising. So, although we’re unable to get together and hold fundraising events in person, we can continue to raise free funds, at no extra cost to you. When you shop via the easyfundraising website or app, with over 4,100 of your favourite retailers, including John Lewis & Partners, eBay, Amazon and many more, you will raise FREE donations for the school.

Parents evenings

In light of the huge changes we are facing, we have cancelled the parents evenings for next week. We will therefore be closing at the normal time on Wed 25th March, to further support all our working parents. So there will be no early closure on that day.

Staff will aim to send home a short written report instead, on April 22nd.

The aim of this is to share progress to date, next steps and ways that you can further help your child to make progress.

Thank you once again for all your support during a time when we have had to make some small but significant changes to the way we are running school.

We really do appreciate your cooperation and support.
