Happy Christmas Building Update!

It has been a super busy term and I wish you all a very happy, peaceful Christmas.

When we return on the 7th January, the Y6 classes will be in the temporary classrooms on the playground.

The preparation work for the new building will be taking place, with the footpath at the back of school being prepared. It does look rather ugly but do please bear with it, as it will all be worth it!

Please do help us by waiting by the correct class sign, at the end of the day. The class will come to you and you can take home from there.

Great Science Share

On Tuesday afternoon some of our pupils took part in the Great Science Share at Tranmere Park Primary School. They were great at showing other children, scientifically explaining what they had been doing, friendly and polite with everyone.  Oscar was brilliant – even trying to explain whilst wearing a space helmet!

Allerton’s got talent!

Today saw the Year 5 and Year 6 Talent Show semi-finals, what a talented lot!

RunTogether

England Athletics have created RunTogether to provide opportunities for people to exercise in a friendly and supportive context. They have started a ‘School Gate’ initiative focusing on linking with schools, and being part of the community with the aim of supporting people in getting and keeping fit.

Claire Senior,  a Personal Trainer and LiRF (Leader in Running Fitness), is organising a Run Together group based at Allerton CE Primary. It is a FREE! beginners running group, followed by a cuppa in the school’s community cafe.

More details can be found on their Facebook page or the RunTogether website. Booking is essential as places are limited.
